Do we take mental illness seriously? NO. Does this movie warns us of the consequences? YES. Should we relate to this movie and feel sympathy for Joker? NO. You know what ignorance and suppression leads to? It leads to JOKER!
Coming to the cinematic aspects of the movie, believe me when I say this, Joaquins acting was TOP TIER" Credit goes to Todd Philips too for creating an amazing yet dark environment and daring to implement this story! Cinematography was on point and in fact one of the best that I've seen! I'm saying this again because no matter how many tines I say this it won't be enough, Joaquin acted as if he WAS Joker! This performance tops that of "Her" and will always live in cinematic history as one of the best EVER!
